Description:
Freeze time. With motion built in.
SUPERNOVA II is a creative filter that produces real-time ghosting, blur, and duplication on both sides of the frame, no editing, no post-production. A precision-ground surface reacts to camera movement and shifts in light, giving footage a cinematic, hypnotic character. Works across portraits, fashion, music, sports, and advertising, in photo and video alike.
Control the intensity with your aperture: from subtle ghosting to full, hypnotic blur.
Prefer the ghost effect on just one side of the frame? Try SUPERNOVA I.
Why Creators Love It:
✓ Zero editing. The effect happens live, straight from the camera. ✓ Adjustable intensity. Aperture controls the strength of the blur. ✓ RFL Infinity Ring™. Spins endlessly once mounted. ✓ Photo and video. One filter, every format. ✓ Universal thread. Fits any camera brand.
Love the black hole filter, it's a lot of fun, not easy to use but you can get really creative and achieve amazing effects:) I also have supernova 1 filter and the aurora handheld glass - which is my absolute favourite:) Worth every pound! I'll definitely buy the handheld supernova II and handheld blackhole for my next wedding season:)
Perfect for sunny summer days! Instead of trying to avoid overexposed areas, with this filter you can actually make them part of the picture. It does need bright sunlight though for best results.
It's really good, but the screw mount is in the wrong place. It's hard to fix it to a camera (I'm attaching it to 15mm rods using a Vocas Rod -> magic arm adapter) and it's hard to get it in the place you want it with the screw hole being on the side. It should be on the bottom. I'd also like to see some reflectors designed for 4x5 filter trays in matteboxes. Maybe one that can rotate so you can have half filters half not, and choose where to have the refraction.
